Pannos Winzeler is eager to attend the annual ABA Marketing Conference in Denver, Colorado this weekend! Especially since this event is anticipated to be a great opportunity to connect with new people and deepen familiar relationships with clients and business partners in the banking and financial services industry. Taking chances is a part of business. Opening yourself and your company up to new ways of communicating with customers can be both exciting and daunting. Social media has introduced numerous platforms (blogging, microblogging, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flickr – to name a few) to engage your company online, for free. Questions and conceptions are bound to arise, especially among those who are not members of the ever-growing contemporary tribe of digital natives who live a good portion of their day-to-day lives through online venues. Individuals who do not consider social media to be a worthwhile venture will continue to miss out on opportunities for meaningful and engaging interpersonal communication.
